This is pretty cool! For all the gamers out there EA Sports is set to release the highly anticipated Fight Night 4 on June 30th,2009. Our Canadian friends at CYC Design Corporation have teamed up and created some exclusive collaboration pieces for the release. The collaboration is unfortunately very limited and will be only given to select high profile boxing figures and celebrities.
Reigning Champ created two different Fight Night x RC Classic Zip Hoodies. The first one shown below is a homage to Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali and features Gold Flatlock seams on the hem and cuffs, a heavy duty gold double zipper and both Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali’s professional boxing records tonally embroidered on the chest.
The second collaboration piece is a custom Red Classic Fit Zip Hoody that pays tribute to the pride of the Phillipines, and current pound for pound greatest boxer Manny Pacquaio. For this piece they used Gold Flatlock on the hem and cuffs, a heavy duty Black double zipper and Pacquaio’s current profession boxing record. Also embroidered on the chest is the “Pambansang Kamao” which means “National Fist” referencing the impact he has had on the Phillipines.
The coolest part is that Reigning Champ has actually been integrated into the gameplay of Fight Night 4. As part of the collaboration you will also be able to outfit the fighters in Reigning Champ apparel. You will also be able to see subtle references to Reigning Champ throughout the game on spectators, venues etc.
